The menu offers year-round staples for those who want to stick to the tried and true, as well as rotating options that change with the seasons. The Catholic tradition of “Fish Fridays” are part of the regular fare – but the exceptional cuisine coming out of this kitchen might have the devout running to confessional for being so deliciously sinful. Ranging from Scallops over Horseradish Cheddar Grits to Halibut with Fresh Fig Compote, chef Price’s imagination titillates all of the senses.

The menu further ranges from salads packed with oomph to snacky foods such as house-battered Onion Rings and Tots with Smoked Gouda & Chive. Try the tots on Hamilton’s perfectly tender, never greasy Fried Chicken Sandwich with the broccoli salad.

For a different kind of religious experience, skip church and try their Sunday Brunch. The Brioche French Toast Bread Pudding provides the ultimate comfort on a cold morning. Even the heartiest appetites will be satiated by Mama’s Sausage Gravy over a Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit. The ultimate surprise on the menu has ruined all other wings for me. Instead of being tossed in a deep fryer, these compote wings are baptized in duck fat and seasoned for 24 hours before being slow roasted. The result is a crisp skin working overtime to contain the most tender, juicy wing meat permeated with a mole sauce. While the mole is the menu standard, come on Tuesday Wing Night to try chef Price’s latest wing sauces with one of the many rotating craft beer selections or house specialty cocktails.
