Ann Ottney Cain Lecture in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing

Speaker Phyllis Raynor, PhD, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, APRN, will explore the intersection of substance use, mental health conditions, and associated health risks for transgender youth in the United States. She will provide practical recommendations for primary care providers regarding culturally appropriate, compassionate, evidence-informed practices for engaging transgender youth and their families to promote greater well-being for all youth, regardless of gender identity.
