XFEST celebrates gender minorities in improv and stand-up comedy
Baltimore, MD— XFEST is a new comedy festival from the Baltimore Improv Group specifically designed for gender minorities in comedy.
Running Thursday, May 31 to Sunday, June 3, XFEST will feature stand-up and improv acts from all over the country. The mission of XFEST is to work towards equity and justice in comedy by highlighting the talent of underrepresented voices. Comedy can often exclude or be an unwelcome environment for women, non-binary, and gender-variant performers. XFEST aims to amplify voices from the margins.
