The Queer Student Alliance (QSA) of the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) will be hosting a fundraiser at Forno Restaurant and Wine Bar on March 10^th, from 3 to 5 p.m., in support of our first annual Queer Prom. Join us for Happy Hour drinks and food, knowing that a portion of the proceeds will go towards funding Queer Prom. As special guests, some of your QSA E-Board members will be guest bartending during this time!

Our goal in hosting a Queer Prom is to give LGBTQIA+-identifying individuals a chance to get a true “prom” experience. Many of us have missed out or gone unhappy, due to not being able to present as ourselves or not being allowed to take the person we wanted to. UMB’s first annual Queer Prom will be held in early May, hosted by QSA and other LGBTQIA+ groups at UMB.
