For Immediate Release: Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW) moves to Baltimore on President’s Day Weekend 2020

ONYX Founder and Executive Producer Mufasa Ali of the Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW) announced today that the weekend will host the birth of the international title – International Leather Warrior (ILW), executive produced by Goddess Lakshimi and Mufasa Ali. The international title (International Leather Warrior – ILW) and two national titles (Leatherman & Leather Woman of Color – LOC & LWOC) will be awarded at Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW) Annual Event moving to the Baltimore, Maryland area Presidents Day Weekend on February 14th – 16th 2020. This year’s theme is Carnivale: Pump Your Flag!
The Baltimore Playhouse and Night Shift will be the main event sites for the weekend. More information and hotel details are expected to be released soon. All members of the Leather/Kink communities are welcome to attend.

About Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW)
Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW) has been revamped. The national titles of Leatherman (LOC) & Leather Woman of Color (LWOC) will be awarded this weekend in keeping with Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW) tradition. Our mission of promoting people of color in the leather community with positive images remains strong, and we are also proud to continue our educational programs and outreach. To this end the new inductees to the POC Leather Hall of Fame will also be inducted.
We will still have our favorite elements of Mufasa’s Pride Fellowship Weekend (MPFW): a world class production, educational seminars, vendors, play parties, a dance, a kinky karaoke brunch and fellowship of like minded diverse individuals in leather. We look forward to continuing our great relationships with diverse sponsors, the Leather/Kink community, the press, and all our fans — and with only 5 months until contest show time, our event producer and his staff has kicked into full gear.
About International Leather Warrior Title
The International Leather Warrior (ILW) title contest is born. It is founded/owned by Goddess Lakshimi and Mufasa Ali. The International Leather Warrior (ILW) title is for the people within the Leather/Kink community that wish to participate in a contest that celebrates their service to and social justice platform within the community. The titleholder chooses a charity to support that matches said platform and promotes that platform and charity throughout their title year. ILW is open to ALL persons within the Leather/Kink community with no gender requirements for this title. Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years old by February 14th, 2020 and at least a minimum of 5 years of service within the community.
