Who can claim the £299 amount?
To claim the £299, you must be eligible for the benefits proposed by the Department for Work and Pension. These benefits include-
- Income Support Benefit
- Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (CTC)
- Income-related employment and support allowance
- Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit- If your UC was reduced to £0 between November 13 and December 12, 2023, due to increase in your family income.

The payment must have been made between 16 and 22 February who receives Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit.
