Sacramento FFESP is a guaranteed income or economic assistance that would be offered up to 12 months to 200 random low-income families who are caring for a child of 0 to 5 years. Eligible households will be chosen based on a lottery system. Payment will be distributed according to annual income and the number of members in the family.
Applicant must be parenting a child aged between 0 to 5 years. Families must be living in one of the following zip code areas of Sacramento: 95821, 95815, 95823, 95825, 95828, 95838. Your net annual household income is below 200% of the federal poverty Line, and you must be living full-time in one of these zip code areas.
Choosen applicants will be informed by May 5, 2025, via email, phone, and text. If you’re not contacted by June 6, 2025, it means your application was not selected in the lottery system.
This pilot program is being run by UWCCR in partnership with the Sacramento City Department of Child(SCDC), Family and Adult Services (DCFAS). It was primarily funded by State Block Grant funds from the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), along with some private funds.
