There are a plethora of anti-aging products on the market today. Creams, lotions, and expensive surgeries have led the forefront in trying to help an individual maintain a more youthful look, but sometimes with less than desirable results. Invasive surgery can leave a person in extreme pain and sometimes debilitated for long periods of time. Let’s face it — people want to look and feel younger. Though diet, exercise, and genetics play an important role in how we age as individuals, there is a less intrusive way to help the body maintain a youthful appearance with the simple use of light.

Red-light therapy is becoming popular as a safe and effective way to “slow” down the aging process. This type of technology is currently offered in salons and as part of gym membership packages, although a system can be purchased for the home at a rather high price. The system uses infrared lights as the main feature, which have been known to provide therapeutic benefits to the body.

Unlike tanning beds, which use harmful UV rays, red-light therapy takes advantage of infrared lighting. The infrared lights can easily penetrate the skin and work effectively in repairing damaged nerves and tissues under the skin without unnecessary plastic surgery. This method has shown to be highly effective and can change your skin’s appearance while greatly diminishing blemishes and scarring on the skin’s surface. Red-light therapy is also something to consider if you are prone to acne breakouts, as it helps to reduce acne inflammation in order to promote healing.

Another factor to consider is how energetic frequency works with certain aspects of the human body. It was scientifically proven by Dr. Royal Rife in the 1930s that cancer cells were destroyed by the use of vibrational frequency and light within the violet area of the light spectrum. Light within the color spectrum resonates at frequencies which can help to destroy viral and bacterial activity without harming healthy tissues. These same frequencies, which operate at different levels of light, can also help to repair cells, tissues, nerves and other parts of the body.

During red-light therapy, a burst of energy is sent to the body, triggering a response at the cellular level to repair any damage and begin the healing process basically from the inside out. Though the infrared light does not penetrate to deeper levels of human tissue, red-light therapy, as mentioned, helps to promote surface healing and can diminish the appearance of noticeable traits such as acne, age spots, sun damage, and some fine lines and wrinkles.

The cost for red-light therapy varies depending upon location. Typically there is a one- to three-month commitment to begin to see desired results. Though this may seem like a lengthy time to see long-term results, it is one of the best non-invasive treatments available. Many individuals have reported seeing changes within the first week of their therapy sessions. Other factors to consider for this kind of treatment include your skin condition and the damage that has accumulated in your body over the past years. Because of these types of factors, longer sessions may be required.

If you are into the beautification process, red-light therapy technology is recommended as a naturally safe and effective protocol. This method is not only good for its healing method, it can enhance overall general health as well.
