Welcome one and all to 2018 Baltimore Pride Week! Let’s get ready to come together as “United we shine”!

Included here are all the 2018 Baltimore Pride official events. There are three categories of events:

• “Official Pride Events,” indicated as “Pride.” These are events that are created, managed, and coordinated by the Baltimore Pride Planning Committee or one of its subcommittees.

• The second category is “Official Partner Events,” planned in coordination with outside groups, and raising funds to support Baltimore Pride. They are indicated as “Partner.”

• The third category is “Official Outreach Events,” which connect the diversity of the community and its interests to Baltimore Pride, and are indicated as “Outreach.”

Note that all events scheduled at the GLCCB take place on the third floor at 2530 North Charles Street in Baltimore. This location is disabled-accessible.

The following events take place between June 9th to 23rd.

Saturday, June 9th

1 to 4 pm: 3rd Annual Baltimore Pride Community Outreach BBQ. The Ynot Lot (4 West North Avenue) Raising awareness about LGBTQ homelessness and inspiring others to give back. 1 to 4 pm: Annapolis Celebrates LGBTQ Pride: A Concert featuring Heather Mae, Olivia Mancini & Crys Matthews. Rams Head On Stage (31 West Street, Annapolis). Three talented LGBTQ Indie singer-songwriters will perform. Tickets: $20. Bit.ly/2JjgHSz. All ages. Outreach.

Sunday, June 10th

11 am to 12:15 pm: Annual Stonewall Liberation Day Pride Service. First Unitarian Church of Baltimore (10 West Franklin Street). Special guest musicians The Positive Voices of Baltimore. Rev. 2 to 3 pm: WorkshopThe Misinterpretation of Holy Scripture: Causing the “infected” and “affected” syndrome of LGBT people of faith. GLCCB. Hosted by Truth and Love Fellowship. Free. Outreach.

3:30 to 5 pm: Workshop: Queer Faith Leaders Roundtable. GLCCB. Join queer-identified clergy and lay leaders to discuss the dynamics of faith communities at various stages of welcoming, queer ways of viewing faith, and more. Free. Outreach.

Monday, June 11th

7 to 8 pm: Workshop: PrEP for Pride. GLCCB. Charm City Sisters, your favorite local activist drag nuns, proudly present a workshop dedicated to educating about prevention of HIV transmission with PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). Health care professionals from the Baltimore City Health Department talk about how to have healthy sex and stay safe while doing it. Free. Outreach.

June 12th

6 pm to 2 am: 4th Annual Pride Kickoff at the Chasseur (3328 Foster Avenue). Celebrate Pride with an awesome party, featuring cocktails and drink specials benefiting the GLCCB and Baltimore Pride. Giveaways, prizes, delicious eats. Free. Bit.ly/2xLeZYQ. 21-plus. Partner.

7 pm to 10 pm: Annual Pride Interfaith Celebration. Theme: “Moving Forward: Standing on the Shoulders of Our Ancestors.” Bolton Street Synagogue (212 West Coldspring Lane) An LGBTQ-inclusive interfaith service, followed by a reception. Wednesday, June 13th

6 to 10 pm: Wine’d Up Wednesday at Flavor (15 East Centre Street). An upscale evening geared towards LGBTQ / SGL professionals, corporate diversity groups, and allies, featuring a premium wine tasting, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. The Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the OUTNetworking Loft. 7 to 9 pm: Edging: Right On the Line: A Group Exhibition of Erotic Art, opening reception. Talon Gallery at the Baltimore Eagle (2022 North Charles Street). 24 artists’ work will be displayed through July 29th. Co-curated by local artists Dorian Holliday and Douglas Johnson. Free. 21-plus. Outreach.

11:30 am to 2 pm: Drag Brunch: Pre-Game to Pride at El Bufalo Tequila Bar and Kitchen (2921 O’Donnell Street). Start your Pride weekend off with a drag brunch. Bambi Galore hosts. 12 to 10:15 pm: Glitter & Paint Day Party. Street Mark’s Lutheran Church (2000 Street Paul Street). A day of fun, music, paint and glitter. 1 to 2:30 pm: Pre-Pride Show. 22nd Street and North Charles Street. Featuring local talent, including the winners of the Arts of Pride contests, and The Positive Voices of Baltimore. Official.

3 to 10 pm: The Dance Stage at the Block Party. 22nd Street and North Charles Street. DJs include Figment, M Dixon, Kevin Carter, Dan Gee, Quietboy, and Tony Japzon. Hosted by the Baltimore Music Collective. Official.

4 to 10 pm: Baltimore Pride Block Party. Station North). Headliners are TT The Artist, Miami TIP, Taylor Bennet, and Tish Hyman. Featured artists are Davon Fleming, Garek the Queen, Rue Pratt, Kotic Couture, Spykey Van Dykey, and Kourtney White. Official.

6:30 to 10 pm: New Wave Singers present “Movie Magic!” showcase and silent auction fundraiser. Towson Unitarian Universalist Church (1710 Dulaney Valley Road, Lutherville). The Pride Festival will celebrate families and children with a kid-friendly environment, including music and entertainment stages, a Family Pride area, the Lady Lisa Drag Stage, exhibitors, and local food trucks. 12 to 6 pm: Elder Pride at the Pride Festival (Druid Hill Park, between Swann Drive and the Sundial Pavilion). Enjoy shade, seating, hydration, and sharing stories with friends and neighbors. Add yourself to the timeline of LGBT history; celebrate your Coming-Out-iversary in our Out Proud photo booth; free HIV and hep C testing; help with advance directives and more.
