The Baltimore Station will host its annual Homerun for Recovery fundraiser at the The Alley at Power Plant Live on Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm. Presented by Fortego, LLC, the sports-themed event will benefit The Baltimore Station’s therapeutic residential and community-based outpatient treatment programs for veterans and others who are transitioning through the cycle of poverty, substance use disorder and homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Join Kennedy Krieger Institute on Saturday, April 25, 2020 for the 16th annual, jungle-themed ROAR for Kids, a 5K road run and low-mileage walk for individuals of all ages. Moveable Feast Hosts Ride for the Feast Fundraiser

Hundreds of riders and volunteers are gearing up for the 2020 Ride for the Feast, a 140-mile charity bike ride from Ocean City, Maryland to Baltimore City in support of Moveable Feast and its mission to provide nutritious meals and other services at no cost to people with life-threatening illnesses.      For the first time in the fundraiser’s 18-year history, riders have the option of cycling just one day of the Ride – Saturday for 100 miles or Sunday for 40 miles – in addition to the option to complete the full 140-mile ride. An indoor spinning class offered by Brick Bodies will also be offered following a successful debut during last year’s fundraiser.

Each possessing more than a quarter-century of D.C. musical history, Washington Performing Arts’ two namesake choirs—the Men and Women of the Gospel and the Children of the Gospel—take the stage together in an evening of inspiration and jubilation.
